Down in New Haven, at Café Nine, tonight, Jazz Haven presents the Tony Purrone Trio at Cafe 9!!
Thursday night, the Councious hip hoppers, Political Animals headline a show at The Nine with Zak G, Apollo Suns and more opening the show.
Friday night you can catch a Record Release Show for Goodnight Blue Moon with special guests “Oh Cassius” and “Milksop:Unsung”.
Cafe Nine’s weekly Saturday afternoon Jazz Jam will be hosted by the George Baker BAnd this week.
Saturday night there’s a St Patricks Day Parade Fundraiser at Café nine with Jovial Crew and Ample.
Sunday afternoon at 4pm Drink Deeply presents: Saxtet & Andrew Beals to be followed by The Original Sunday Night Jam with The Langley Brothers Band. www.cafenine.com

In Hartford, at Blackeyed Sally’s, it's the long running weekly Blues Jam tonight, hosted by Ed Bradley.
Friday Night, Shawn Holt & The Teardrops take the Sally’s stage for a night of authentic Blues. Shawn Holt is the son of legendary Blues Legend Magic Slim, a chip off the old block, fronting his dad's band. Ct blues group Bad Rooster takes the Sally’s Stage Saturday night. www.blackeyedsallys.com.

Also, here in Middletown, at the Buttonwood Tree, tonight is Film night and they will be showing “Heart of the Country" at 7pm. Friday night Firecracker – Nathan Day & JD Williams make for a night of Americana and folk music.
Saturday morning kicks off with Tai Chi and a self empowerment workshop. Saturday night Charter Oak Bluegrass returns to the Buttonwood.
On Sundays, Food Not Bombs serves food outside the Buttonwood at 1 pm, all are welcome. You are also invited to help prepare the meal beforehand at 11 am at First Church Congregational on Court Street. Sunday evening brings the Monthly Poetry Pot-Luck to the Buttonwood. Showing through tomorrow At Real Art Ways in Hartford, you can catch "Bettie Page Reveals All", an intimate look at the rise, and fall, and rise again of one of the world's most recognized and controversial sex symbols. With her razor sharp wit and Tennessee twang Bettie Page emerges from decades of seclusion to reveal her secret past and narrate her own life story.
